Growing up, I had been misdiagnosed with different disorders and diseases — sebaceous cysts, severe migraine, Bell’s palsy, polio, scoliosis, myasthenia gravis, etc.

It was when I was 22 years old in 2004 when we learned that all my other previous medical conditions were related to one another, and Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) is what my disorder is called.

The topic of this column was inspired by the randomness of my gorgeous frootie college friends.. :P

Life is varied, colorful, and full of surprises. How we wish that it would always be as sweet as honey, for ourselves and for our loved ones; but well, it will never be like that. Nonetheless, no matter how spicy, salty, sour, or bitter life may taste, it is always good to remember that your existence matters, so better get moving and move forward with your life. Go Go Go!
