Why are you not 100% PWD-friendly, Circuit Makati? WHY?
Dear Circuit Makati,
I’ve been hearing (reading, technically, for I am deaf) a lot of good things about you – good online reviews and positive feedback from family and friends. To celebrate my dad’s birthday, we wanted to try a different place. As I went out of the car, the view from the parking was nice – it was spacious and well-lit in the evening. I was excited! There was even a designated PWD parking slot. But for a little while, I WAS STUCK. There was no pathway for my wheelchair to access the mall - NO RAMPS IN SIGHT AND BIG HEAVY PLANT POTS FENCED ONE SIDE. So, HOW? How do I get to the mall? How do I get out of the parking lot? Fortunately, kuya guard willingly helped when asked (Thank you). He moved the pot to give enough space for me to pass.

#HappyBirthdayDonBosco Celebration
My siblings and I were planning to eat out and watch a movie when the month of August came but Talitha suggested, "Sa birthday ni Don Bosco nalang tayo umalis." And DB birthday celebration it is! Janna, Dong, my mom and Tito Jun also joined us for dinner. We were supposed to dine at Bannaple but since it is outside Greenhills Shooping Center and it was raining kinda hard, we decided to just eat at Greenhills Promenaded. Banana Leaf it is!

I'm a Lakwatserang naka-wheelchair..thanks to my PWD ID!
"I don’t think the discounts and privileges given to senior citizens and PWD ID holders are being given because these two groups of people don’t go out that much anyway, it is to let us know that we are still part of the society and that we can still enjoy life like normal people do. Because life is beautiful, no matter what."

Last February 12, my mom, dad, Maro & I attended the Mandaluyong Liberation Ball where the Top 10 Taxpayers and Ulirang Mandaleño are being awarded. Ever since I was awarded with Ulirang Mandaleño - Special Award for PWD in 2012, I am always invited in City events like this one.

Feeling Kids again at Toy Kingdom
February 10. My mom, Talitha and I head over to Toy Kingdom in Megamall to buy gifts for Angel, Timmy and Kyle's birthday party on Saturday. Shopping for toys is always a fun-filled activity. Wag lang isipin ang gastos. LOL.
I bet most of the people who works in toys stores have a happy and cheerful attitude. Seeing lotsa toys can make everyone happy; yes, everyone – young or old, not only the kids. Or is it just us? I don't think so.
While looking around for toys, we saw a mom and kid playing some fishing game. Ang saya! We learned that it’s one of the challenges you can play when your total purchased amount reaches Php500 or more. My mom declared, “Tayo rin!”
Since we have two different receipts, we were able to get two game coupons. Even though there’s no child with us, we were able play the challenges, booth by booth. Feeling mga bata. Pwede naman eh. :P

Camille Party with Lotsa Love from the GYA Peeps
We were supposed to have an overnight party in Cainta a few days after Camille's birthday (January 18) but she got sick on her day followed by measles attack. Our party was scheduled on January 23, she was already rashes-free that time but could still be contagious so just cancelled the party and had a Kapitolyo foodtrip instead. But it wasn't cancelled all along, it was just postponed and rescheduled.

Monday Hair Day & Camille's Post Birthday Celebration
I
told myself that after Tito Jim and April's wedding, I will have a haircut coz
I'm done with (not-so) long hair already. It often gets tangled up, especially
that I'm not fond of combing my hair. As in walang suklay suklay. Okay ng
gamitin ang kamay. :P Actually, I haven't comb my hair since yesterday. Tamad
eh. Sorry. And then I saw Tita Belle's new hairstyle during the wedding and I
fell in love with her hair. It's a sign! Kailangan ko na magpagupit!!!

Epic Freestyle Saturday w/ the GYA Peeps
The GYA Peeps loves Viber group chat! Our topics can be something serious and significant but most of the time it's full of nonsensessential and meaningless stuff like sending stickers, posting selfies or whatnot. And because of this, ALL our planned 'lakad' always pushes through — wala ng drawing!!!
And so we decided to go to Kanto Freestyle Breakfast in Kapitolyo.
