Rosaries for Hannah

While I was checking what's new on multiply, I saw Karen's latest link about a sick baby girl, I hurriedly clicked on it.. and of course, re-post it as well..

Hannah is suffering from CCHS or Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome. It is a rare and lifetime condition characterized by one's brain failing to signal the body to breathe. In Hannah's case, her brain fails to do so when she falls asleep. To keep her breathing, we need to hook her to a mechanical ventilator/respirator, which connects to her through a tracheostomy tube found in an opening in her neck.

Hannah still doesn't have her own mechanical ventilator, so we're renting this equipment for her. Although we know that this will take it's toll on us financially, we simply have no other option yet. It is our dream to buy Hannah her own portable ventilator, which she can use for so many years ahead. This portable ventilator will also allow us to bring Hannah outside the confines of our house: to the park maybe, to church, or even to a nearby fastfood restaurant. It does pain us to know that we're not able to have Hannah see the same sights, hear the same sounds, and experience the same things as other babies of her age do. That's why Joan and and I are again appealing to your generous hearts.

We're selling rosary bracelets, that Joan and her mom make, to help us raise the funds to buy Hannah's portable ventilator. Joan and I decided on the rosaries as our mission and devotion to spread the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mama Mary to everyone. The rosaries are also our own way of repaying your generosity and kindness to our family. Because we have faith that we can bring so many people closer to God and bring so much blessings into their lives through these rosaries.

A lot of people needs our help.. A lot of us needs to help..
