Wonderful steak lunch at Melo’s!

The very long travel from Mandaluyong to Alabang, Muntinlupa is always more than worth it at Melo’s. Thanks to Uber Manila, getting a ride & travelling is always hassle-free for us (so far) and it was easy for us to get at Melo’s in Westgate Alabang.

Talitha & I were supposed to go there with Maro since it was a holiday & he has no classes but he has somewhere to go to so I invited Kathreen the night before and she immediately agreed. Who would decline Melo’s anyway?

We started with Melo's soft & hot homemade rolls w/ butter
Soup that warms the heart
The manager, Sir Frankie, recommended their new Wagyu creation (Surf & Turf) and we loved it!
Wagyu Tenderloin Lobster tail
served with Truffle Aioli and Red Wine Sauce
Seafood Pasta in Tomato Sauce and Cognac Cream Sauce
500 grams CAB Ribeye
We also had seafood pasta in tomato sauce & 500g Certified Angus Ribeye with angus rice that’s good for 2-3 persons.

Like always, everything was so delicious or as Talitha describes it, “Nakakaiyak sa sarap!” (It's so delicious, it make me cry)

Medium Rare
I never liked beef that’s cooked medium rare until I tasted Melo’s Wagyu. It’s soft and believe it or not, it really melts in the mouth and I am so grateful for having the opportunity to eat this.

Studies show that Wagyu beef is healthy red meat option
Consuming Wagyu beef is beneficial to your health, possessing a unique high concentration of beneficial omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and is lower in cholesterol than regular beef and the combination of these fats deliver a distinctive rich and tender flavor compared to other beef.

I love Wagyu because it tastes way better than the regular beef and it’s healthier too, right?  Right? Right?

Wagyu is ♥
This fact got my attention because of Omega-3 because my doctor (neurosurgeon) advised me to take it. According to an article I read somewhere in the net, diets that are high in omega-3 have been shown to help lessen the risk of heart attacks, lower blood pressure, and help with vital brain functioning.

Thanks to the kind and generous owner Ma’am Caron Santiago Macasaet for this wonderful Wagyu experience!
