A few weeks ago, someone posted on my page
I AM KCAT on Facebook, seeking help for her sick son by posting about it and spreading his story. As usual, I overlooked that post and it was only yesterday that I got to talk to her. Good thing she was currently online when I sent her a message on Facebook.
Her name is Mary Rose and her 2-year-old son (turning 3 on December 17), Lord Andrei was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). In March, they noticed that Andrei had a hard time walking. He frequently had on & off fever and started becoming paler. It was April 24 this year when Lord Andrei was diagnosed with ALL through his Bone Marrow Aspiration (BMA) and blood tests. According to cancer.org, ALL is a cancer that starts from white blood cells called lymphocytes in the bone marrow.
He needs to undergo a total of 24 cycles of chemotherapy to achieve full remission and hopefully be totally cured of cancer and grow up like most of his kids his age does – healthy and carefree. Currently, he’s done with his 9th session and needs 15 more. Unfortunately, they are running out of funds to sustain Andrei’s chemotherapy and medications. Rose is currently 8 months pregnant with her 2nd child while her husband works as a minimum-wage employee in a Hotel and they really need our help in making their son be cured of cancer.
“I'm so sad, but at the same time, so happy to see that my son is fighting,” Rose shares.
