KCAT CAN: Breathing hope

I decided to start writing my article; I opened the MS Word and stared at the blank screen for a while; I can't think of anything to write! And then I remembered how God kept on answering my every question the past few days so I thought, maybe I could write about "God answers" and then I asked Him, "Lord, can you tell me what to write? Can you give me inspiration please? Thanks. Thanks. Mwah." (yes, including the last 3 words ;P) I decided to put-off writing for a while & check my FB instead.. What's new? Haha. ;P Amazingly, the first update on my (wall) Top News is from Jon Angelo Viado's page (managed by Tet & Joni) about their upcoming gift-giving charity event, Breathe Hope cares. After reading it, I immediately said, "Lord, thank you for giving me an answer again.."

God answers

I often talk to God and pretending He is just beside or in font of me. I talk to Him like how I talk to my friends, kwento lang.. When I started my EYE CAN Fund-raising Campaign, I told God: "Lord, pwede pong humingi ng booth para makapag-benta ng items ko for my fund drive?" and He gave me not 1, but 2 answers! Last week, I told him: "Lord, OK sana if I'll be featured on TV again para ma-promote yung fund drive ko, kung ok lang po." and in less than a week, HE ANSWERED: "SURE"

P.S.: Last I was thinking (after praying), gusto ko ng Happy Lemon. Kelan kaya kami pupuntang Greenhills, para makabili ako. I wasn't really asking God, but He was listening to my thoughts & answered me again this morning: "On Tuesday." :)

WOW!

I woke up this morning, I received a text message.. *good news*
then I took my afternoon nap and when I woke up.. *good news*
when my mom came home, she told me the details of that *good news* plus Dr. Lopez (my neurosugeon) already reserved that operating room at PGH on April 11 for my surgery.
We haven't raised the needed amount yet, but God will provide.

Happy Birthday Kariz! Sinuwerte ako sa birthday mo.. ;P

Abhie & the 3 Stars Auto Group held a Drive for a Cause in Doha on March 2, 2001. Abhie did a a Closet Sale for a Cause on her Facebook account. Jen asked her officemates and friends to support my fund drive and buy my items. She collected the orders and we'll have it shipped this week. Superrrr thank you so so so so much!!!!!!!! If I only could produce tears, I would cry tears of joy. If only my facial muscles move, I would smile from ear to ear. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

1 Month to go

Target date for my head surgery is April 7, 8 or 9.. But that still depends if we have already raised P400,00 by then. Hopefully. Definitely.

Am I ready? Of course! "Matutulog lang naman ako, pag gising ko, OK na!" ;P Money for surgery nalang. But my mom always tell me that I don't need to worry about the (huge) amount every time I need to undergo medical procedure. Truthfully, we don't have that much money but there is always a way and helping hands along the road. And on the end of the road.. is the Operating Room.. Haha. God will always provide.
